The Canton of Baelfire Dunn is the local chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronisms (SCA) covering the areas of
Caldwell, Burke, Catawba, Alexander, and Iredell counties in the western part of North Carolina.
The SCA is an organization dedicated to the research, education, and re-enactment of lands and cultures which existed
between the years 600AD and 1600AD. The SCA is a not-for-profit organization founded in Berkley California
in 1966 and has grown to establish branches all over the world.
The official Canton meeting is the 2nd Sunday of the month at 3PM at the Bunker Hill High School.
4675 Oxford School Road
Claremont, North Carolina 28610
In addition we have a gathering every Sunday at 3PM at the School assuming we have someone to open the building. (Long events or family plans can cause the gathering to be canceled) it is always best to look at the group’s e-list to see if we have canceled. If someone doesn’t have access to the list they can contact one of the Canton officers to check if the meeting is on.
Its a good idea to contact an officer before you show up to a gathering for the first time. They will give you directions for where to park and what door to enter from.
