Court
Court normally begins anywhere between 4:30 & 5:00. Court is held by local nobility and visiting royalty. Awards, as well as prizes are given for contests held during the day. There may be recognition for people who have done good things in the past. For example: Helping in the kitchen or setting things up for the Autocrat.
Feast
Feast is held shortly after court. It consists of several courses called removes. A meal fit for a King, but provided for all. The style of food normally depends on the theme of the event. Customarily, you need to bring your own feast gear - a bowl, plate, knife, fork, spoon, cup and napkin. A tablecloth and candle will add a little elegance to your table.
After feast, there are a variety of activities going on. Dancing and story telling in the feast hall. Perhaps someone will teach medieval dances.
You can also wander from campsite to campsite visiting again. Mingle with your new friends. There may be a fire with music, dancing and story telling. Wherever you go, you are sure to be entertained.
Then it is off to bed for the second night. On Sunday morning everyone packs up and leaves. We always leave each site looking better than we found it.
